We are now looking for an efficient PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST for the period 7.9.2026-8.8.2027 or as agreed. As a Procurement Specialist, your task is to coordinate and support the municipality's procurement activities in cooperation with various municipal units, as well as to maintain and develop public procurement expertise within the municipality. Your duties also include monitoring the development of public procurement and applying legislative changes, preparing guidelines for new practices, and providing training within the municipality. In public procurement tendering, you will act as an expert for the municipality's acquisitions and prepare procurement decisions and contracts. You will also flexibly handle other tasks closely related to procurement. We expect you to have good basic procurement knowledge and several years of work experience in public procurement; including service, goods, and contract procurements, framework arrangements, as well as municipal procurement activities and tendering. We also require good experience with the Cloudia tendering system, the Dynasty document management system, and the use of basic office software (Microsoft). To succeed in this position, you should have good interaction and cooperation skills as well as an independent approach to work. Eligibility requirements include a suitable higher education degree, as well as good oral and written skills in one national language and satisfactory skills in the other national language.
