We are looking for a motivated and warm-hearted instructor for 24-hour housing services for people with intellectual disabilities in Mikkeli. In the cozy and community-oriented environment of Pihkapuisto, you can genuinely influence the daily lives and well-being of the residents. Pihkapuisto Service Home provides 24-hour services primarily for people with severe intellectual disabilities. The instructor's duties include taking care of the individual needs of the clients, and our goal is a smooth daily life with all its joys and sorrows. Work in our unit is based on a three-shift system. The pillars of our operations are high service quality, active development, and professional, motivated, and enthusiastic staff. Our work community hopes that you are a warm-hearted, kind, and caring social services professional. We expect from you: - Education in the social or health sector (e.g., practical nurse, social worker, registered nurse) or social and health care studies in the final stages. - Enthusiasm for learning new things and a desire to develop your professional skills. - Good community skills – we value cooperation and teamwork skills. - An empathetic and customer-oriented attitude – you are involved in supporting our clients' well-being. - Vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act (Section 48) and a health certificate regarding tuberculosis according to Section 55. - Registration with Valvira as a professional with a protected title or appropriate student status. - The selected person must present a criminal record extract before the start of employment in accordance with the Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care (741/2023).
