As a childcare worker, you are an important part of children’s everyday lives. You help ensure a safe, inspiring environment that supports children’s development and participate in educational activities with the team. Touhula Jaani is a five-group daycare centre with a physical activity theme and a cheerful, energetic atmosphere every day. Our development-minded and enthusiastic community values high-quality early childhood and pre-primary education in a safe daycare environment, with an unhurried daily routine and the child at the centre. Your responsibilities as an early childhood education childcare worker: You are an important part of a team creating a safe, inspiring everyday life that supports children’s learning. You take part in supporting children’s growth, development and learning together with the team, families and the wider work community. Your work focuses on: - Implementing pedagogy: You participate in planning and evaluating high-quality early childhood education as part of the team, using your strengths. You implement small-group and full-day pedagogy in accordance with Touhula Rytmi. - Responsibility for your own small group: You are responsible for your group’s activities and participate in pedagogical documentation and preparing children’s early childhood education plans with the team. - Maintaining the learning environment: You ensure that the children’s learning environment is diverse, safe and tidy. - A positive customer experience: You build trust and open communication with families. You create a positive emotional atmosphere that comes through in every interaction. The final salary depends on years of work experience and any role-specific or personal salary supplement. What we expect from you: - The qualification for an early childhood education childcare worker required by the Early Childhood Education Act. - The ability to build open and professional interactions with all stakeholders. - A responsible approach to work and the courage to try new ways of working while actively developing your professional skills. - A criminal record extract required by law and a report required under the Communicable Diseases Act.
