Logistics Working Foreman

Kekkilä-BVB is the European leader in horticulture. We provide products and services for professional greenhouse growers, retailers, consumers and landscape architects in more than 100 countries. At our De Lier location we are looking for a Logistics Working Foreman to work on the floor and supervise colleagues. The role is hands-on, not an office position, and involves leading and coordinating with the team, operating forklifts, and ensuring an efficient, safe logistics process. Working hours are flexible between 05:00 and 20:00/22:00 with shift patterns. Responsibilities include daily hands-on participation in loading (forklift/reach truck), distributing and coordinating work, supervising on the shop floor, inspecting incoming goods, maintaining order and safety, contributing to waste reduction (5S), and coordinating with dispatch and planning, reporting to the manager. The position requires a mbo level 4 qualification (logistics preferred), experience in a logistics support role (pré: supervising colleagues), forklift experience, good Dutch language skills with basic English, experience with stock control and logistics systems (e.g., Microsoft D365, Power BI), and willingness to work varied hours including Saturdays.
