Practical Nurse

We are seeking practical nurses for a permanent employment relationship for ward 11 at the Helsinki hospital in Malmi. Work on the wards is three-shift work. Malmi Hospital Ward 11 is a geriatric acute ward where acutely ill patients are treated and rehabilitated. Patients come to the ward mainly through the HUS Malmi emergency department. Nursing work on the ward is diverse, related to the treatment of the patient's acute illness as well as the promotion of functional capacity and the implementation of a safe discharge. You are the person we are looking for if you have good clinical skills, good interaction and cooperation skills, and are able to work independently as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Eligibility requirement: Practical nurse degree. We require registration in the professional register of the License and Supervision Authority. Good oral and satisfactory written skills in Finnish. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis certificate according to Section 55.
