We are seeking a permanent Surveying Engineer to start on 1 September 2026 or by agreement. The unit handles land ownership management and development, including raw land procurement, plot dispositions, parcel formation and registry entries, maintenance of base maps and statutory surveys. The role includes leadership over surveyors and the surveying services as a whole, and opportunities to work on 3D city modeling in the future. The job is primarily office-based with some fieldwork.

Responsibilities
- Overseeing mapping and surveying tasks
- Carry out cadastral calculations and map maintenance
- Coordinate with Tampere region municipalities and stakeholders
- Lead and develop surveying services
- Participate in 3D city model projects in the future
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher in surveying or geomatics (AMK) or surveying technician
- Valid B-driver's license and own car
- Medical fitness certificate prior to starting
