Electrical Engineer (Industrial)

Sweco Finland is seeking an electrical engineer for our Tampere office to work on a range of industrial and renewable energy projects. As an experienced electrical design professional you will be a key person ensuring that electrical design projects are carried out efficiently and with high quality. In addition to project management and design work, your solid experience may allow you to guide younger designers. We are strengthening both process electrical and electrical distribution design. Lead role is possible based on your experience. In addition to large projects, our daily work includes a number of smaller assignments. Project delivery models vary by project and your duties will shift according to project needs and lifecycle. We are currently involved in several interesting hydrogen, battery and energy technology projects. We have a flat organizational structure and authority and responsibility are distributed widely. We are always open to new ideas and Sweco offers you a low threshold to influence matters. You will work in a close-knit team with support from your supervisor and colleagues. We are looking for someone to join our Tampere office in Ratina. We work in a hybrid model, combining office and remote work. To succeed you have an electrical engineering degree (AMK/YAMK/DI) in electrical power technology or electrical energy engineering. You already have experience in industrial electrical design, process electrification or electrical distribution design. If you find Lead role interesting, you have the desire and capability to take lead and guide other electrical designers. Proficient Finnish (spoken and written) and good English are advantageous. Alma system knowledge is a plus. Your approach to work is development-oriented, with a willingness to learn and develop professional skills. You also have customer-focused attitude, initiative and strong communication and interaction skills.
