About the role

Project Manager, Together into Working Life project, substitute We are looking for a project manager for a fixed-term substitute position in the ESR-funded Together into Working Life project. Work starts on 21.9.2026. YHTYE - Together into Working Life project The project helps young people requiring demanding special support find their place in working life. Through the project's measures, companies and workplaces are supported in employing people with precise work abilities: - Companies and workplaces receive help in anticipating and articulating labor and skill needs. We offer concrete support for job design and tailoring of tasks. - Trainings are designed and implemented in cooperation with companies based on workplace needs. - The skills and potential of students requiring demanding special support are made visible. - Companies receive help in recruiting, hiring, and planning work arrangements for students requiring special support. - Cooperation between workplaces, employment areas, education providers, and wellbeing services counties is strengthened. At the heart of the project are the needs of workplaces – solutions are sought for them by experimenting flexibly and boldly. The project organizes workshops across Luovi-Finland, inviting employers, employees with precise work abilities, students requiring special support, representatives of vocational institutions, and actors from employment and wellbeing areas. Workshops address the needs of different target groups and brainstorm new experiments to be implemented together with working life and other stakeholders. Additionally, the project supports students requiring special support in articulating and presenting their own skills and support needs. Digital service and operational model descriptions will be created for all experiments conducted in the project, which can be utilized widely elsewhere. Your Special Task Your main task is to implement the project's content-related measures according to the project plan together with a project worker. You will work closely with companies. Additionally, you are responsible for the project's administrative measures, which include implementing feedback surveys, preparing steering group meetings, and reporting on activities and results. The position includes actively and enthusiastically communicating about the project's progress and results. Other Luovi staff will also participate part-time. The services and functions developed in the project are intended to continue in Luovi's basic operations after the project ends. The project manager's role requires a suitable university degree and versatile expertise in themes according to the project content, working life cooperation, employment, and network cooperation. We expect knowledge of vocational education and special vocational education. Additionally, we hope the selected person has experience in development and operational management, as well as communication and digital skills. Service design expertise and experience acting as a project manager are considered an advantage. The project duration is 1.2.2026-31.1.2028 and we are now seeking a project manager for a fixed-term substitute position starting Mon 21.9.2026 or by agreement and lasting until 30.6.2027 or possibly longer. Working time is 36h 15min per week. Employment terms are determined by the Collective Agreement for the Private Education Sector. The salary for the project manager's position is €4200/month. The work requires willingness to travel and a B-class driver's license. The position involves a lot of travel to Luovi's locations as well as other student work-learning and employment locations.
