Sterilization Technician

We are looking for a sterilization technician for a permanent position at Helsinki Sterilization Services. Helsinki Sterilization Services includes the sterilization units of Kalasatama, Malmi, and Myllypuro. The work begins on October 1, 2026, or by agreement. At the start of employment, the workplace will be Kalasatama, but the location may change according to need. Helsinki Sterilization Services primarily services equipment for oral health care, primary health care, health centers, and laboratories. The work is shift work, from Monday to Sunday. Currently, shifts are between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM Mon-Fri, and between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM on weekends. Kalasatama working hours are Mon-Fri 7:00 AM – 8:30 PM and Sat 9:21 AM – 6:15 PM. Your duties include the maintenance of care instruments and devices used in patient examination and treatment, such as cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and packaging. Ensuring asepsis and patient safety are your most important tasks as a sterilization technician. Your work is paced by routines, but your days vary according to the tasks. What we offer you? The person selected for the position must be at least 18 years old and have completed a degree in sterilization services. Eligibility requirements Degree in sterilization services. Language requirement is satisfactory oral proficiency in Finnish. We require vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health statement regarding pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units. Salary Salary is determined according to the SOTE agreement. The position-specific salary is €2,521.50/month. In addition, possible experience and other supplements apply. Interested?
