We are now looking for a new colleague for our skilled and energetic team in the Kouvola Korjala Prisma, Kouvola Center and Iitti Kausala store group! Role: Sales Assistant Employment: fixed-term from 24.8.2026-31.12.2026 Working hours/week: 10h Location: Kouvola Salary: requirement level 2 (11.71-13.70 €/h) Would you like to be the person who makes a customer's day a little better? In this role, you will play a key role in producing an unforgettable service experience for our customers. No two days are the same with us. Serving our customers arriving at the store is our most important task, and in addition, your workdays may include store maintenance tasks such as shelving products, cashier work, store cleaning, unloading shipments and delivering online store orders. We have a caring and community atmosphere, we act together and help each other. We offer you an average of 10 working hours per week, and if you wish, you can also do extra work in other stores in the nearby area, getting to know new colleagues. What personal qualities do we value in our new colleague? - Desire to exceed customer expectations: For us, the most important thing is a genuine desire to work with customer service and our products. We consider previous experience in customer service and sales work, especially in the specialty trade sector, as well as knowledge of our product side, for example through restaurant industry work experience or hobbies, as an advantage. - Enthusiasm and attitude: You are eager to learn new things and develop yourself. You genuinely enjoy meeting people, are socially bold and want to offer our customers an unforgettable service experience together with us. - Readiness for flexibility: We hope that you are ready to work flexibly in different shifts, also in the evenings and on Saturdays within the opening hours of our stores. - You are a great team player, with whom cooperation is smooth thanks to your good interaction skills. You create positive energy around you and are a great person to work with! In addition to teamwork skills, we hope that you also have a readiness for solo work when necessary. - 18 years of age and meeting the value world: You are of legal age and share Alko's responsibility values. What we offer you: - Salary: Salary according to the requirement level of the task, requirement level 2 (11.71-13.70 €/h).
