About the role In this role, you will support our client with general ledger accounting and month-end closing activities. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and clarity of financial data, and you will also have the opportunity to develop and document processes in close collaboration with other team members. You will work closely with the team to ensure the smoothness and accuracy of financial processes. - Maintaining the general ledger - Preparing journal entries - Month-end closing activities - Balance sheet reconciliations - Recording payments from bank statements - Creating and developing documentation - Communicating within the organization when investigating accounting transactions We are looking for - A relevant higher education degree in finance or accounting, preferably with a focus on accounting - Strong practical skills and work experience in general ledger activities, including reconciliations, month-end closing, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and a solid understanding of accounting principles - Fluent written and spoken English - Ability to navigate a changing organization and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment - A precise, detail-oriented, and quality-driven working approach - Strong communication skills It is meritorious if you have - Experience with Netsuite ERP system To succeed in the role, your personal skills are: - Change oriented - Excellent collaborator and communicator - Organized and detail-oriented Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our clients wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
