We are looking for a motivated and capable electrician to join our team in Heinola. In the role, you will operate in the daily installation, maintenance and repair activities of the Heinola municipality maintenance department and report performed actions to the maintenance system. Your tasks include taking care of preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, repairs and modification work for buildings and properties in the Heinola area, mechanical equipment, and electrical, automation, process devices and systems. You will be responsible for the diverse daily maintenance tasks, with core duties including: - preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment and systems - fault finding and problem solving - documenting and reporting maintenance work in Finnish - participating in developing and improving production processes You have the ability to grasp larger entities and you will collaborate closely with the work supervisor and the skilled production team. In the role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to improving the plant’s overall safety culture. We expect: - experience from similar tasks - experience in maintenance of production equipment - electrical know-how and familiarity with various maintenance techniques, electrical automation knowledge is an asset - sense of responsibility and self-driven approach - electrician or other electrical qualification You are open and sociable by nature and direct your actions towards set goals with self-direction. You have good interpersonal skills to maintain functional relationships with various stakeholders.
