We are looking for a nursing assistant for a wage-subsidized employment relationship at the Laajasalo health station. The task includes guidance and advice for customers. The work is standing-oriented and includes physical tasks such as unloading and shelving deliveries, transporting laundry and waste bags to storage areas and waste rooms, handling mail and light cleaning of the kitchen. Sufficient proficiency in Finnish spoken and written, as our working language is Finnish and we communicate with customers and staff in Finnish. Orientation for the job also takes place in Finnish. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis certificate according to Section 55. We consider a hygiene passport and work experience in customer service as an advantage. You are an unemployed Helsinki job seeker and meet one of the following conditions: - you are 15-24 years old - you have reached 50 years of age - you have not completed a matriculation examination, a degree referred to in the Act on Vocational Education or an equivalent foreign secondary education degree - you are entitled to an integration plan referred to in the Act on the Promotion of Integration - you have not been in gainful employment during the previous six months - as an unemployed job seeker, your chances of getting a suitable job have significantly decreased due to injury or illness. At least three years must have passed since the end of the previous wage-subsidized employment relationship with the City of Helsinki before you can be employed again with a wage subsidy for the city.
