Due to our growth, we are now looking for a mechanical designer for the design of electromechanical products and industrial equipment in Espoo! Your role with us In this role, you will design and develop electromechanical products and industrial equipment as part of an international product development team. The work covers the entire product lifecycle from design to change management, and emphasizes the controlled maintenance of product information throughout the development process. You will get to work with demanding technical entities in a multidisciplinary environment. To succeed in the position, we expect experience in the mechanical design of electromechanical products or industrial equipment as well as Creo 3D CAD skills. You have experience in the design of sheet metal structures, machined parts and assemblies and an understanding of manufacturing methods, manufacturability and production requirements. We also hope for experience in product data management with PDM/PLM systems (e.g. Windchill) and the management of design changes, and we consider experience in thermal design or the development of heat management solutions as an advantage. A suitable educational background is, for example, a mechanical engineering engineer/M.Sc. or an equivalent technical university degree. Since product development is always done in close cooperation with colleagues and customers, we value strong collaboration skills, openness and an outgoing nature in all our roles. Operating in a multidisciplinary, international project environment also requires the ability to act both independently and as part of a team and requires good communication skills in both Finnish and English.
