About the role

Eaton is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex Data Center infrastructure projects across France and the wider EMEA region. Our Data Center projects encompass critical power distribution solutions, from medium- and low-voltage electrical systems to UPS technologies, battery energy storage solutions, and advanced automation platforms including DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) and EPMS (Energy Power Monitoring Systems). As a key member of the EMEA Projects team, you will take full ownership of projects from order intake through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover to Eaton’s service organization. This is a highly visible role requiring strong technical expertise, project leadership, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management skills. The position can be remotely based within France, with regular travel to customer sites and project locations. * Location: France(Nanterre/Montbonnot) - remote/hybrid with regular travel to customer sites * Travel: Frequent travel within France/Spain and occasionally across the EMEA region as required by project execution. ## What you’ll do: * Lead the end-to-end execution of complex engineered-to-order Data Center and critical infrastructure projects, from purchase order receipt through final handover to service teams. * Build, coordinate, and manage multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring clear ownership, alignment of deliverables, and effective collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. * Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies to ensure on-time project delivery. * Manage customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle in close partnership with the Sales team, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact. * Drive project financial performance through active cost control, variation management, forecasting, margin optimization, revenue recognition, and identification of upselling opportunities. * Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and opportunities, maintaining comprehensive risk registers and escalating critical issues when required. * Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities, including management of multiple Eaton and third-party suppliers. * Lead on-site implementation activities, including site coordination, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning oversight, and management of installation teams and subcontractors. * Ensure successful project outcomes across all key performance indicators, including safety, quality, customer satisfaction, profitability, cash flow, and execution timelines. * Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, supporting best-practice initiatives, and sharing project delivery knowledge across the organization. ## Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. * Minimum 5 years of project or site management experience within construction, critical infrastructure, electrical systems, or industrial automation environments. * Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors. * Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) with a strong focus on construction and electrical infrastructure projects. * Strong experience in electrical power distribution, power management systems, UPS technologies, critical power infrastructure, building management systems, or automation and controls. * Experience working within Data Centers, mission-critical facilities, or similarly complex industrial environments is highly preferred. * Demonstrated ability to manage projects with significant installation and commissioning content and high commercial exposure. * Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal.
