CNC Lathe Operator

We are looking for a skilled CNC lathe operator for Tampere Hervanta. The job requires a person who finds a workshop environment a natural setting to work and who has solid skills in CNC turning. Work is done on a modern machine fleet, and you will perform a variety of turning tasks from small-series to single pieces. The machines use Fanuc and Mazatrol controls, so knowledge of one and familiarity with the other are considered a plus. The work is carried out in two shifts. The ideal candidate enjoys practical hands-on work, can take responsibility for their own work, and wants to develop their skills in turning. We value careful work methods and high quality. What the job includes: CNC turning for small-series and single pieces; setting up and fine-tuning programs; working with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controlled machines; measuring parts and ensuring quality. We expect: experience in CNC turning; knowledge of Fanuc or Mazatrol control; ability to set up and modify programs; initiative and problem-solving mindset; accuracy and willingness to produce high-quality results; readiness for two-shift work. Desirable: programming skills on CNC machines; experience with both controls; broad experience in machine shop.
