The wellbeing services county consists of the municipalities of Alajärvi, Alavude, Evijärvi, Ilmajoki, Isojoki, Isonkyrö, Karijoki, Kauhajoki, Keahti, Kurikka, Lappajärvi, Lapua, Seinäjoki, Soini, Teuva, Vimpeli, and Ähtäri. We are seeking school psychologists for two areas: 1 school psychologist for basic education in Ilmajoki 1 school psychologist for basic education in Kauhajoki As a school psychologist, you will work as part of the student welfare multidisciplinary team. Your duties include, among other things, individual support and guidance for students regarding learning and wellbeing, assessment of learning disabilities, participation in the work of the multidisciplinary expert group, and community work at the educational institution. Eligibility requirement is a qualification as a licensed psychologist (Act 559/1994). The applicant must be registered in the Terhikki system. We also consider students in the final stages of their studies. Experience working with children and young people is considered an advantage. The person selected for the position must present an extract from the criminal record as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (Act on the verification of the criminal background of persons working with children 504/2002) before the start of employment. The position-specific salary for a school psychologist is €4,715/month. In addition, we pay an increase based on applicable work experience. A probationary period applies to the employment relationship. Other terms of employment are determined by the SOTE agreement. HYVAEP is a smoke-free workplace. Regarding staff vaccination protection, we follow the vaccination protection required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016).
