We are primarily looking for a chief physician who can also serve as the service manager for the entire service unit (NaSyLa). The chief physician leads the medical activities in the specialty of gynecology and obstetrics. The service manager is responsible for the personnel and financial management of the entire unit. We expect the applicant to have extensive expertise in gynecology and obstetrics, as well as sufficient experience in personnel and financial management. Success in the role requires participation in regional reproductive health cooperation, collaboration with child and family work across the social and health care sector, a positive attitude towards training, and development of activities with pediatric and pediatric neurology clinics. The position requires suitability under section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (measles, varicella). The employer will determine the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations. A security clearance will be conducted with the applicant's consent, in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (726/2014). More information about security clearance can be found on the Finnish Security Intelligence Service website: www.supo.fi/turvallisuusselvitykset.
