Come join us at Ylästö Day Care Centre as an early childhood education teacher in a permanent position. In the upcoming academic year, you will work in a pre-primary education group. Your team consists of another early childhood education teacher, a childcare worker, and an assistant. Ylästö Day Care Centre is a 6-group facility located near Ylästö School, offering spacious premises to implement high-quality early childhood education. The centre is surrounded by local playgrounds, forests, and the wonderful outdoor opportunities of the riverbank nature reserve. We regularly utilize the opportunities provided by the local environment in our activities. We focus on children's social and emotional skills as well as child participation. We also value unhurried encounters between children and parents, sensitivity, and the building of interaction. Ylästö Day Care Centre is part of the Ylästö operational unit, which includes three day care centres. Our unit is managed using a parallel leadership model, where one director is responsible for personnel and another for pedagogy. Employment details Qualification requirement: Early childhood education teacher (qualification according to the Early Childhood Education Act) The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the Municipal Education Personnel Collective Agreement (OVTES). Salary: 3129.46-3234.53 eur/month. An additional 15 eur/month is paid for a degree meeting the early childhood education teacher qualification requirements, and 37.88 eur/month for a Master of Educational Sciences degree. A work experience supplement based on previous experience is 3-8%. Required permits: The selected person must present a valid criminal record extract. A tuberculosis screening of the respiratory system for selected persons working with children under school age is checked (Communicable Diseases Act § 55).
