We are seeking a Security Manager for a permanent position in Lapin well-being areas’ facilities and property services. The job location is in Rovaniemi, but you will work across the entire Lapland region in cooperation with service production, authorities and external service providers. Your responsibilities as Security Manager: you will develop organizational security and risk management and harmonize security-related entities. You will ensure personnel, customers and premises operate in a safe environment now and in the future. Key responsibilities include: preparing, developing and supervising technical systems related to facility, personnel and organizational security; drafting security directives, processes and guidelines and ensuring their quality; planning and developing risk management and holistic security; preparing, monitoring and supervising contracts related to security services; collaborating with authorities on security, readiness and preparedness. Additionally you will act as an expert in security solutions for investment projects, coordinate security clearances and serve as a contact person with the Security Police. The role also includes participation in major accident and disturbance readiness. You will lead a team of security professionals. We expect: a suitable university degree; a security supervisor specialty or another security or technical field; experience in security leadership, security systems or risk management; ability to manage large entities and cooperate with diverse stakeholders; strong communication and collaboration skills; proactive and developmental working style. In this role you will influence one of Finland’s largest geographic welfare areas. The environment is diverse: hospitals, rescue stations, social and health centers and other critical facilities across a wide area from Simossa to Utsjoelle.
