The pediatric neurology unit has a long-standing, yet youthful and development-minded team. You will perform diverse pediatric neurology work across children and adolescents in the Kymenlaakso welfare region. Our pediatric neurology unit at the Kymeenlaakson keskussairaala serves about 25,000 children and adolescents aged 0–16. Annually, over 600 referrals come to our unit, providing a broad spectrum of neurological investigations, assessments, and care pathways. Your work will focus on outpatient clinic duties, but you will also participate in daytime investigation unit activities, which run about 200 treatment sessions annually. In the role you will have the opportunity to influence your job description according to your interests and, if desired, to deepen in certain disease groups. Collaboration with specialty nurses, pediatricians, and ward staff is smooth and uncomplicated.
