This interesting role might be just for you!** We are seeking an **EHS Advisor** for a large-scale construction project on behalf of our client. You will work closely with contractors and the project team to develop EHS practices and ensure that agreed-upon procedures are followed. You will have a genuine opportunity to influence the work culture and work as part of a professional EHS team. Success in this role requires previous experience with Environment Health Safety responsibilities in a construction, energy, or industrial environment. **Employment** is fixed-term. The estimated duration of the project is several years (over 3 years), but the final duration of employment will be determined by the project's progress. **Responsibilities** - Be responsible for the daily monitoring of the site's EHS operations as part of a team - Ensure that occupational safety and environmental requirements are followed on site - Conduct site walk-throughs, safety inspections, and audits - Guide and support employees and project management in safety matters - Assess risks related to work phases and monitor the implementation of risk management measures - Review and prepare safety plans in collaboration with other EHS team members - Investigate deviations, near-misses, and safety observations, and follow up on corrective actions - Report on occupational safety issues and identify areas for improvement - Promote and participate in the project as an occupational safety expert - Coordinate with authorities **Requirements** - Relevant university degree (e.g., construction or environmental engineering) - Willingness to work shifts and flexible availability - Previous experience in EHS roles, preferably in a construction, energy, or industrial environment - Knowledge of legislation, reporting, and documentation - Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and a desire to influence safety culture - Good IT skills and proficiency in MS Office - Language skills: Working language is Finnish; fluent written and spoken English **What we offer** - A fixed monthly salary.
