Welcome to join us at Primary Health Care Ward 2! We are looking for registered nurses for permanent employment contracts. Our ward has 33 patient beds, providing care for acute, rehabilitation, palliative, and end-of-life care patients. The ward operates in modules. Patients primarily arrive for treatment from the LKS emergency department and for follow-up care from various specialized healthcare wards. We offer you the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary community where the work is varied and allows for the versatile use of professional skills in treating patients from different specialties. The work is based on a three-shift system. Your role as a registered nurse is to ensure high-quality care for patients, as well as the promotion and maintenance of health with a rehabilitative approach. WHAT DOES THE POSITION REQUIRE OF YOU? - A legalized registered nurse degree according to Act 559/1994, either as a university of applied sciences degree or an equivalent college-level degree. - Registration in JulkiTerhikki (National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health). - A criminal record extract for those working with the elderly. - Fluent oral and written skills in Finnish. - Medication permits and demonstrations (completed at the start of employment). - A positive attitude and enthusiasm! Terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
