Pakistan Tobacco Company has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer in Akora Khattak, Pakistan Your key responsibilities will include: • Ensure implementation of product and material innovation in accordance with global and regional programs and strategy right first time. • To ensure proper specification of packed products and proper data management are in place in accordance with BAT quality and legal standards prior first production • To ensure proper specification and proper data management are in place in accordance with BAT requirements and legal standards. • Ensure adherence to BAT recommended sampling frequency and compliance with testing methodologies at all the identified stages of the GLT process. • To maintain data in various databases, management information systems and spreadsheets. • Continuously monitor performance of existing products to ensure that product specifications deliver desired outcomes in terms of chemical and physical quality and manufacturing efficiency. • To drive the continuous improvement of product and willing to travel to leaf areas for improvement in crops and adherence to product storage protocols. • To investigate process optimization opportunities, develop and submit relevant recommendations to Leaf and GLT. • Ensure trials on various process settings, its proper data analysis and evaluating meaningful conclusions. What are we looking for? • Bachelors or Masters degree in the relevant field • Should be self-motivated and possess initiative, drive, and leadership abilities to lead a team with Decision Making as well as Resource Management skills. • Must possess effective interpersonal and influencing skills. • Should exhibit leadership and conflict management skills. • Should be willing to travel to leaf areas. • Must exhibit good and effective communication skills. • Good knowledge of Quality systems, ISO 9001/14001 and SPC.
