General Practitioner

We at Terveystalo dedicate ourselves to health, serving private customers and the public sector with a wide network of clinics across Finland. We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join our Pieksämäki team. The role involves appointment-based outpatient care in which patients come to your clinic for general practitioner level issues. Patients include private clients, occupational health clinic patients, insured clients, and listeners in the Kela trial for people aged 65 and over. The trial offers private GP visits at the price of public healthcare for those aged 65+. Services include 20-minute GP visits at the clinic or remotely (video and phone), certain GP-ordered tests (some blood tests, urine tests, ECGs, and chest X-rays), and the trial includes a set number of annual visits through 2025–2027. Flexible working arrangements (part-time or full-time), monthly salary or service-provider model are possible, and shifts are planned to suit your schedule. Pieksämäki clinic is open weekdays until 16:00. There is also opportunity to specialise in occupational health or become a licensed occupational physician through a long, tailored course.
