Folkhälsan Välfärd Ab is seeking a caregiver for Villa Familia. Villa Familia is a child protection unit operating a safe house, a family rehabilitation unit, and a reception/children's home. We are now looking for a caregiver for our children's home for a fixed-term period from 1 September 2026 to 31 January 2027. The position sits in the basic foster care unit of Villa Familia. The children's home houses children and youths aged 0–17. The work is on three shifts. As a caregiver you are an important part of the daily life of children and youths. Your duties include daily care, ensuring safety and predictable routines, and collaborating with the children's relatives and various networks. The qualification requirement is a basic degree in social, health or educational fields. We value good collaboration skills, proficiency in Finnish and Swedish, and enthusiasm for developing activities. Prior experience in child protection work is especially valued, but mental health and/or substance abuse work and crisis work are also advantageous. A driving licence is essential. You will have access to various staff benefits (e.g., occupational health care via Mehiläinen, ePassi) to support your wellbeing at work, as well as training days. Salary is determined according to the private social services sector collective agreement. The selected candidate must present an acceptable medical certificate and a criminal background check as required by law on background checks and a tuberculosis examination.
