Hello, You who can see the world through a child's eyes, come as a permanent early childhood education assistant to the central early childhood education area. You will work mainly as a member of one team and will be able to influence the operation of the group and the daycare center with your expertise. Your workplace for the 2026-2027 operational year is daycare Arabia as a group-specific assistant. You can be an early childhood education veteran or a new talent. What is most meaningful to you is a relaxed and safe everyday life and phenomenon-based thinking. You are enthusiastic about your work and jump in to play and move with the children. In addition, you possess solution-orientedness in the face of everyday phenomena, without forgetting a flower of humor and a twinkle in your eye. Your task is to assist children in need of support in various daily activities and help them become part of the peer group together with other staff. The task focuses on the physical, psychological, and social guidance and assistance of children based on the children's individual needs. The goal is to activate and support the children's independent action according to jointly agreed operating methods. Supporting your work is the team's responsible teacher and the unit's early childhood education special teacher. In the central area, there are regular network meetings for early childhood education assistants. In addition, the employer organizes various trainings through which you have the opportunity to develop your own expertise. The task begins on August 24, 2026, or by agreement. A suitable degree for assistant tasks is, for example, a vocational qualification for school assistants, family daycare providers, and the field of education and training, and a qualification as a practical nurse or a caregiver for the intellectually disabled. In addition, we require good oral and satisfactory written skills in Finnish. The selected person must present a valid criminal record extract for working with children (504/2002). A tuberculosis clearance for the respiratory system for those working with children under school age is checked (Communicable Diseases Act § 55).
