Would you like to cook good food in a patriotically significant work environment? We are looking for a COOK for the Pulteri staff restaurant in the special forces of good food, who take care of the food supply of the Defence Forces in Jyväskylä. The special forces of good food prepare tasty food for those who keep society running - the Defence Forces, the official field and other partners. Whether it's a cake or a stew, our core task is to ensure the continuity of food supply in all conditions. At the Pulteri staff restaurant, we set the table for the personnel of the Defence Forces and other stakeholders. We will start work in early October in a recently renovated restaurant, whose kitchen has been renewed for almost all equipment. The work of a cook in a staff restaurant is versatile and we prepare food using Leijona's own recipes. In addition to the cook's duties, your tasks include working in the hall and customer service. Your tasks also include the use of systems used in our work on a computer and a tablet. In principle, shifts are on weekdays between 7 and 14.30, however we expect readiness to work also in the evenings and weekends if the restaurant situation so requires. You can get to us from the Jyväskylä area using public transport. Essential recruitment criteria: A cook's degree gives you the skills to prepare good and healthy food. You have a hygiene passport. You have already gained experience in cook's duties and can work independently according to instructions. You have good IT skills and are skilled in the use of various systems. You fit into our small work group if you have a proactive work attitude, willingness to learn, prepare tasty food and like quick humor. Our working language is Finnish and our recipes are available only in Finnish. We expect good Finnish language skills from you. Our customer requires a security clearance for those working in the area. At Leijona, a condition for concluding an employment relationship is an approved security clearance - we will help you in doing this.
