Adven is a dynamic energy group and together with our 600 employees we provide industry with resource-efficiency promoting steam production, heating, cooling and infrastructure services as well as district heating for households and companies and geoenergy for large properties. We have a long and solid experience of over 50 years in the energy sector and currently about 350 sites in different Nordic and Baltic countries. We are looking for an automation engineer in Vantaa to strengthen our automation organization Our production organization's over 250 experts work with processes critical for customers. They ensure reliable energy supply and constantly strive to improve the performance of the plants. The plants are geographically widespread. Our automation team supports operation and maintenance experts by ensuring that plant operation is cost-effective and disruptions are kept to a minimum. We monitor several different plants remotely around the clock and utilize the team's expertise in solving fault situations and optimizing processes. The operation of our energy production plants is highly automated, which enables centralized management and continuous development work. As an automation engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, development and automation implementations of Adven's production automation. At the center of your work are system availability, reliability and cost-efficiency. You will be responsible for the procurement of automation systems and equipment, periodic testing and participate in automation design and maintenance of plans. In your position, you will develop and maintain automation solutions in close cooperation with project teams and operation and maintenance experts of the production plants. Your primary place of work is Adven's Vantaa office. We work flexibly according to a hybrid model combining office and remote work (on average about 3 days a week in the office and 2 remotely). To succeed in this position, we hope you have: - Appropriate technical education (engineer or master's degree in engineering) - Experience in automation maintenance and/or design in the process industry (e.g. energy, forest or chemical industry) - Strong expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLC) and supervisory software (SCADA), including commissioning and troubleshooting - Experience with Schneider and Siemens PLCs and the Citect SCADA system is considered an advantage - Good knowledge of automation systems, field devices and interfaces - Willingness to travel in Finland We promise you an interesting and central role in a rapidly developing and growing business.
