The autumn looks exceptionally promising for our clients' starting investment projects, and the procurement function plays a central role in ensuring project success. We are seeking new members for our Procurement TOP team – professionals with a background in Project Procurement Manager / Sourcing Engineer to handle these projects’ procurements and bring them to completion in collaboration with our clients. The role suits someone with experience in technical procurements, investment projects, or industrial project deliveries – for example in equipment, systems, components, services, or turnkey procurements. Your background may be in procurement project responsibility, strategic or tactical sourcing, technical purchasing, or commercial management of technical entities. In the role you will lead client-project procurements and act as a procurement expert as part of the project organization. Your work may include drafting project-specific procurement plans, mapping supplier markets, preparing requests for proposals, conducting tenders, comparing technical and commercial bids, negotiating with suppliers, drafting contracts, handling claims, monitoring supplier performance, and managing project orders. The procurements may relate to production equipment, machines, technical systems, installations, maintenance, design and expert services, or various turnkey packages. The operating environment is international and projects may be located worldwide. You will work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as the procurement team, project team, design, production, quality, sales, and finance. Additionally you will actively work with suppliers, sub-contractors and other external partners to ensure procurements support project objectives in terms of quality, schedule, cost and risk management. What do we hope you bring? You should have prior experience in project procurement, technical procurement, sourcing, or purchasing in an industrial environment. You can be an experienced Project Procurement Manager, technical procurement professional, Sourcing Engineer, or a buyer who has strong understanding of technical entities and commercial negotiations. We especially value experience in technical investment procurements such as equipment, machines, production systems, contracts, installations or other project-specific procurement packages. You have proven track record in competitive bidding, supplier negotiations, contract work and collaboration with technical stakeholders. The role rewards initiative, accuracy, solution-oriented mindset, good stress tolerance and ability to drive decisions even in project haste. You are comfortable with changes, dislike routine, and can prioritise tasks in a changing environment. You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and you interact naturally with both technical experts and commercial stakeholders. You know how to ask the right questions, challenge constructively and move negotiations forward through cooperative engagement. You have the ability to understand business and project needs and apply your expertise to practical procurement work. Your education may be technical or commercial university degree. Proficiency in Finnish and English is required. Prior experience with ERP systems, product data management or design data management systems, and eSourcing tools is regarded as advantageous. The role is full-time. We operate a flexible hybrid model where some days at the client site (e.g. in the Helsinki region) and other days remote are possible. Start dates are flexible in August–September 2026.
