Kaiku HR is looking for several people for its client RMC (Rauma Marine Constructions) for significant projects in the shipbuilding industry at the Rauma shipyard. Each of these ships is a masterpiece of technology and sustainable development. There is now a position open for an ASSISTANT BURNING MACHINE OPERATOR. In this position, you will get to know the use of burning machines and cutting robots, initially as a so-called 'backman'. No previous experience in this particular position is required, as the work can be taught at the workplace. The position is therefore well suited for someone at the beginning of their career. Your duties include: - assisting burning machine operators - loading and unloading workpieces with magnets - aligning workpieces - learning to use plasma and gas cutting robots We require from you: - interest in shipyard and machine shop work - previous metalworking skills and/or education - a careful and proactive approach to work - ability to work in a team - valid occupational safety and hot work cards - readiness for shift work Please note that a basic personal security clearance will be carried out for the selected persons.
