We are hiring a Machine Technician for an on-the-job learning internship for students at our wastewater treatment plants in Viikinmäki, Helsinki, and Blominmäki, Espoo. You will be part of the infrastructure maintenance heart and work alongside an experienced professional with modern technology. Your responsibilities include preventive maintenance on machines, such as greasing motor bearings, changing gearbox oils, and conducting condition assessments. There will also be some equipment replacements: a damaged device is removed and sent for servicing, then installed back in place. We do not expect you to know everything—we will train you. Suitable study modules for the internship include machine installation, maintenance work, pneumatic installations and hydraulic installations. The internship is unpaid and intended for vocational school or university of applied sciences students.
