Practical Nurse for on-call work

We are looking for practical nurses for on-call work in Mehiläinen’s home-based disability services in the Kanta-Häme region. In this role you will work in clients’ homes as part of a tight circle of care. The work is calm and focuses on one client at a time. In addition to daily assistance, tasks may include medication administration, wound care, care for chronic conditions, and use of respiratory equipment. Shifts include morning, evening, and night shifts every day of the week. We take your wishes and life situation into account when planning shifts in six-week cycles via the Omatyö app. You will receive comprehensive and individualized orientation. Be prepared to work independently and to encounter a variety of clients. We expect from you: - Practical nurse qualification (social and health care sector) - Valid SOTE professional card - Immunisation protection according to communicable diseases act - Willingness to commit to quality nursing - Good interaction and teamwork skills - Positive and proactive attitude - Valid LOVe licences (can be obtained through us) - Proficient IT skills - Good spoken and written Finnish - Criminal record extract from selected applicants (as required by law) - Note that for this client group we cannot consider students in the field. Having access to a private car is beneficial. We follow the private social services collective agreement wage class G22 (practical nurses). Hourly wage depends on years of experience: €15.50 – €17.55. - Start of work: per agreement.
