Personal Assistant

We are seeking a personal assistant through Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue's personal assistance center for a 16-year-old girl with a mobility impairment in Jyväskylä Palokka. The assisted person uses a wheelchair and needs help with daily tasks. The person is kind, cheerful, and gets along with everyone. Work mainly takes place in the recipient's home, during hobbies, or in leisure time. Tasks include assisting with care, dressing and meals, shopping, going to the cinema and outdoor activities. The job involves lifts and transfers, so good physical condition is beneficial. Working hours are 0–30 hours per month, primarily on weekday evenings and some weekends during the day. Salary: according to Heta TES C with possible extra. Starts 1.9.2026. Previous experience or suitable training in rehabilitation fields is an asset. Suitable also for a student or someone doing part-time work. Training will be provided. The position requires good Finnish language skills and being of legal age. The assistant is hoped to be open, positive, proactive and with a good sense of humor. The employer may request a criminal record extract when the assistant’s duties involve working with minors (even in the absence of a guardian).
