UNDP seeks to engage a Project Analyst (Coordinator) to manage and lead urban systems innovation and portfolio-based transformation initiatives... The Project Analyst (Coordinator) is expected to be responsible for the management of the Organics Mobilized: Accelerating Social Transformation Towards Circular Bioeconomy and City Experiment Fund projects, and provision of the advisory support on systems approaches for the Funding Windows: Green and Digital Cities Initiative – Prototypes for Systemic Urban Transformation projects... Duties and responsibilities: Lead and coordinate selected urban and community transformation projects; Guide the application of systems thinking, portfolio management, sensemaking and strategic foresight; Lead targeted social and community listening processes; Serve as the focal point for day-to-day coordination with international, national and local partners; Coordinate and oversee project activities and deliverables; Manage project budgets and expenditures; Support municipalities and local stakeholders in applying portfolio approaches; Contribute to regional learning, peer exchange and knowledge generation; Support resource mobilization and partnership building.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate urban and community transformation projects in Armenia
  • Apply systems thinking, portfolio management, and strategic foresight in municipalities
  • Manage 'Organics Mobilized' and 'City Experiment Fund' projects
  • Lead social and community listening processes and qualitative research
  • Coordinate with international, national and local partners
  • Oversee project activities, deliverables, workplans, and budgets
  • Prepare progress, financial and evaluation reports
  • Design and facilitate capacity-building initiatives in circular economy and AI application
  • Contribute to regional learning and knowledge generation
  • Support resource mobilization and development of concept notes and proposals

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree (master's) in Political Science, Development Studies, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with a Master's degree, or 4 years with a Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in project coordination, design and implementation
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and web-based management systems
  • Proven experience working with local authorities, partners and communities
  • Fluency in English and Armenian
