The heavy equipment maintenance technician is a field-based role responsible for maintenance and repair of machinery at customer sites, including scheduled servicing, troubleshooting, and on-site repairs. You will operate a well-equipped service vehicle and work primarily in the Espoo area with occasional travel to Kotka or Turku. The role is full-time and permanent, with a workday generally from 8:00 to 16:00 and some floater hours. You will coordinate with contract customers in earthmoving and facility maintenance equipment, perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs, and communicate with customers. Fluency in Finnish is required; English reading is also necessary for technical instructions. A valid C-driver's license is required due to a large service truck. Training and onboarding are provided, with relocation not required. Payment follows the Auto and Garage TES, approx. 3200–4000 €/month depending on experience. Requirements
- Several years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or similar mechanical work
- Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and independent work style
- Fluent Finnish and ability to read English technical instructions
- C-class driving license
