We are now looking for new colleagues to join our sales team at the AIRPORT, PASILA AND HELSINKI RAILWAY STATION, and PASILA TRIPLA locations. We are seeking open and active colleagues for fixed-term employment contracts (average weekly working hours 15 h/week). Shifts are primarily available at our stores at Helsinki-Vantaa airport, where we serve customers with extensive opening hours from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and the work is fast-paced and international. Airport work requires a personnel security clearance conducted by the Finnish Security Intelligence Service (Supo). The employer handles the clearance process and assists in its smooth progression. We are opening a second store with a new kiosk concept at the Pasila railway station. The store opens in September, and work in kiosk stores is mainly independent given the size of the store. The railway station customer base is diverse and sales situations are often quick, so we value a commercial approach and initiative. The Pasila Suomalainen Kirjakauppa is located in the Tripla shopping center, attracting shoppers on their way to work and studies. Our service concept includes personal attention to the customer, offering new experiences, and sales work in accordance with Finland's Best Customer Encounter. As a sales associate at Suomalainen Kirjakauppa, your duties include active sales work as well as maintaining the store's appearance and other daily store tasks. Remuneration is based on the retail collective agreement's requirement class B and is determined by years of experience: €13.33/h - €15.26/h. We pay the following supplements for evening and weekend work: - Evening supplement after 6:00 PM: €4.18/h - Saturday supplement after 1:00 PM: €5.46/h - Work performed on Sundays is paid at double rate We are primarily looking for individuals with previous experience in store and cashier work, and we value an active, positive, and enthusiastic attitude toward sales work. You approach new tasks with an open mind and meet customers in the best possible way, even in the midst of a rush. We expect you to be able to serve our customers fluently in Finnish, and proficiency in English is an advantage. Shifts are scheduled according to store opening hours on both weekdays and weekends. We use a working time equalization system, so weekly hours may vary.
