We are looking for a motivated and skilled fleet manager for Kuljetus Mäkivaara Oy. In this role your main focus is on the technical management, reliability and lifecycle management of the transport fleet. You ensure that the company’s trucks and trailers are always in good condition and on the road. Coordinating maintenance for earthmoving machines is also part of the day-to-day, though they form a smaller share of the workload. You will lead the maintenance staff as a supervisor and ensure that the depot and maintenance chain operate seamlessly with transport planning. Responsibilities include: Fleet management: you are responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and inspections of trucks and trailers. Earth-moving machines: you oversee maintenance programs for the rest of the equipment as part of the duties. Purchases: procurement of spare parts and optimal stock management. Supervision: leading maintenance personnel and shift planning. Collaboration: close communication with stakeholders and maintenance partners. What we expect from you: Solid experience with transport fleet; knowledge of heavy machinery and maintenance needs; experience with earth-moving machines is a plus. Systematic: ability to manage large entities and keep fleet data and inspection intervals up to date. Leadership: good social skills and ability to act as a team lead. Basic IT skills: comfortable using modern systems for fleet tracking. Language skills: good Finnish and English (technical documents/partners).
