Mining Designer – join Sweco's mining design services
Mining designer role in Sweco Finland; travel across Finland.
Sweco seeks a mining designer to join the Kalliorakenteet ja geologia team, working on mining and other rock‑engineering projects including open pits and underground works; responsibilities include feasibility studies and contributing to developing Sweco’s mining design services in Finland with Nordic experts. The role can include project management and sales/marketing tasks. Requires a degree in mining/rock engineering/structural geology or related field (DI, FM or Ins. AMK), about five years’ experience, proficiency with Surpac/Deswik and AutoCAD, excellent Finnish and ability to work in English, teamwork and initiative, and willingness to travel within Finland. Knowledge of JORC and PERC codes is a plus, as is Swedish language skills and interest/experience in infrastructure rock engineering. We value curiosity and a collaborative mindset.
