Operations are based on customer-oriented solutions, strong local expertise, and a wide cooperation network with transport companies in the region. Transport services include planning, coordination, and monitoring of transports. Job Description - Transport Coordinator In TeeSe's logistics services transport coordination, the steering, route planning, monitoring, and fleet management of 12 drivers and 20 vehicles are handled. The transport entity consists of both passenger and freight transports. We are looking for a transport coordinator for a permanent employment contract to strengthen the team responsible for transport coordination. As a transport coordinator, you are responsible for route planning, scheduling, and daily guidance as well as fleet management. You maintain contact with drivers, customers, and partners and are ready to react quickly to changes if necessary. Together with the team, you ensure up-to-date information flow, transport efficiency, high utilization, and the fulfillment of customer promises. Depending on the selected person's skills and experience, the position may also include supervisory responsibility and acting as a substitute for the service manager. The final content and areas of responsibility of the position will be clarified during the recruitment process. Working hours are on weekdays, and shifts are mainly between 6:00 and 16:00. The position does not include on-call duty, but sometimes the work requires flexibility, for example, in exceptional situations and holiday substitutions. We expect from you: - Experience in transport coordination, preferably in the operating environment of passenger and freight transports - Knowledge of legislation and regulations concerning the industry - Good local knowledge of Ostrobothnia and especially the Vaasa region - Good IT skills and experience with transport management or ERP systems (e.g., LogiApp) - Fluent oral and written Finnish skills, knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage - Category D driver's license and valid professional competence, Category C driver's license is considered an advantage We also value excellent cooperation and customer service skills, the ability to solve problems and make decisions in changing situations, a flexible and proactive approach, good stress tolerance, and the ability to manage several simultaneous tasks.
