**Come and create the story of your life. We are now seeking a Registered Nurse (B.Sc. NH) for a permanent position as an instructor in our cozy and home-like child welfare unit, Veteli Validia Home.** We are looking for a nurse who is enthusiastic, committed, and ready to grow as part of our professional and warm-hearted team. Veteli Validia Home is a 7-place special-level child welfare unit providing a home-like, safe, and caring environment for youth aged 13-17 with psychological and neuropsychiatric symptoms. In your work, you will take care of the children's daily guidance, education, and care, being present in their everyday lives and walking alongside them. The work is planned and goal-oriented, based on each child's individual client plan. Individual encounters and an emotion-based approach are central to our daily routine. You will serve as the designated primary instructor for specific children and work closely with their loved ones, social services, and other networks. Daily life at the home is built on doing things together, cooking, outdoor activities, and shared hobbies, as well as moments where facing and solving difficult issues together is practiced. The work is a shared journey of growth and learning for the children, families, and the work group. As an instructor, you will strengthen our team's expertise with your nursing education and bring important multidisciplinary skills to the children's home. You will be responsible for acting as the medication management expert within the work group, ensuring that medication is administered safely and systematically. You will be responsible for drafting and updating the medication plan and guiding other staff in medication-related matters. Success in this role requires good interaction skills and the ability to remain calm in demanding situations. Experience in child welfare and working with children with neuropsychiatric and psychiatric symptoms is considered an advantage. Up-to-date Validia medication permits or the completion of them at the start of employment are required.
