Procurement Manager – a strategic role at the heart of impactful procurement We are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead and develop our organization's procurement activities comprehensively. In this position, you will act as the supervisor of the procurement team and be responsible for, among other things, the processes of procurement lifecycle management, contract management, and supplier management. Your goal is to identify cost benefits, while at the same time building developmental partnerships with key suppliers. You will also work closely at the customer interface with our owner-customers to develop procurements. A procurement lifecycle management system to be implemented in the autumn of 2026 will bring a new key tool to the work, the deployment and efficient utilization of which is part of your role. Servica's procurement portfolio includes joint procurements of healthcare supplies for the Eastern Finland YTA, as well as procurements for its own service production, including food services, facility maintenance, and technical services. We also utilize the procurements of other joint procurement units as needed. The position is located in the material logistics service area and you report to the service director of the area. The employment relationship is permanent and full-time. Work begins according to agreement. You will succeed in the position when: - you combine cost-efficiency and business-oriented thinking - you identify when competitive bidding and when deepening a partnership brings value - you lead procurement with data and analytics - you actively develop purchasing activities in cooperation with the rest of the organization and identify deviations - you can lead people and processes in a solution-oriented way, but still with a strong professional view We expect from you: - strong, at least five years of experience in managing public procurements - business understanding and the ability to see overall impacts - experience in competitive bidding and contract management - ability to analyze data and lead based on it - courage to act as the defender of the company's interests - experience related to healthcare operations / procurements is considered an advantage - fluent English language skills We use a hybrid work model, allowing you to work partially remotely when the tasks permit (2 days/week in the office in Kuopio and when the situation requires).
