Job Description
Sedu is recruiting for a Technology Specialist position for the period 30.7.2026-31.12.2027 (KY/92/2026) Sedu is seeking a technology specialist to develop technology education in collaboration with teaching staff, working life, and universities. In this role, you will influence the content, quality, and future learning environments of technology education and strengthen cooperation with industry companies. The responsibilities of the Technology Specialist include: - Developing the quality of technology education and workplace learning - Developing continuous learning training - Increasing collaboration and piloting new operational models with industry companies What do you gain? What does Sedu require? Applicants must have a suitable higher education degree and expertise in the technology sector, as well as experience in collaboration with working life, a development mindset, and the ability to advance matters in cooperation with various stakeholders. An understanding of the needs of vocational education or continuous learning is also required. Good communication and collaboration skills are essential. The initial placement for the position is at Learning Services, Sedu Seinäjoki, Rastaantaival. The role requires mobility between Sedu’s different campuses. Salary and terms of employment are based on KVTES and the salary system used in Seinäjoki Education Consortium, starting from €4,578.88/month from 1.8.2026, plus possible experience-based allowances. The position follows office working hours (36 hours 15 minutes/week) with flexible working hours and the possibility of partial remote work. A satisfactory health statement must be provided before starting the position. A six-month probationary period applies.
