We are looking for a Material Coordinator for a one-year fixed-term contract at Eastman's (Taminco Finland Oy) Laanila site in Oulu. Your role will be to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the Oulu plant's supplies and spare parts warehouse. Key parts of the job include ensuring the timeliness and reliability of spare parts balance information, optimizing warehouse operations, and managing orders and archive documents. As a Material Coordinator, you will work in seamless cooperation with other organizations at the site (e.g., maintenance, production, HSES, Engineering, purchasing, and financial administration), as well as maintenance service providers, transport companies, and material and equipment suppliers. Your tasks as a Material Coordinator: - Responsible for managing material flows (ordering, receiving, shelving, picking, and delivery to the end user) - Maintaining warehouse balances and locations (withdrawals, inventories, demand planning) - Creating new item requests and modifying items in the SAP system - Creating and updating material lists in the SAP system - Investigating discrepancies (shrinkage, incorrect transfers, shelving errors) - Handling incoming and outgoing goods traffic - Domestic sample shipments - Maintaining safety data sheets - Monitoring quality requirements (packaging, handling, pallet types, markings) - Handling complaints (shortages, damages, errors) - Developing warehouse processes and improving efficiency - Processing archive documents, digitizing them if necessary, and maintaining the timeliness of information (Alma system) We expect from you: - Education in logistics or other suitable technical training - Experience in industrial warehouse work - Proficiency in using the SAP system - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, such as Word and Excel - Good interaction and cooperation skills - A systematic and careful approach to work - Initiative and responsibility - English language skills Safety is of paramount importance to us.
