Teacher and Teaching Instructor (On-Call)

On-call work doing meaningful work at Spesia? Ammattiopisto Spesia is a vocational special education institution for young people and adults who need individual support in their studies. We are recruiting on-call workers for teacher substitutes and various guidance substitutes in Turku, Kaarina, Rauma, Uusikaupunki and Salo. Teacher substitute positions require pedagogical teacher qualification. Teaching instructor positions require at least an upper-secondary vocational qualification and experience in guidance. Previous work with young people who need special support is considered an advantage. The position is also suitable for a student or retiree; motivation and interest in the work are important. The private education sector collective agreement applies to pay and other terms of employment. Teacher pay is between €32.43 and €43.36 per hour. This range applies to people who meet the required qualification. Guidance work pays between €14.53 and €16.63 per hour. Pay depends on the amount of previous work experience that is relevant to the position. The selected candidate must provide a criminal record extract under Act 504/2002 concerning checks on people working with children and young people. We are a smoke-free employer.
