Suomen Tulkkauspalvelu is a company providing interpreting and translation services. We serve businesses, the public sector and private customers. Due to growing demand, we are looking for skilled Tigrinya interpreters. Tasks You will work as an interpreter between Finnish and Tigrinya in various service, business and official-authority situations. Interpreting is carried out in person, by telephone or remotely. We require - Excellent Finnish and Tigrinya skills - Adherence to professional interpreting ethics and confidentiality - Reliability and flexibility with schedules Considered an advantage - Experience in legal, healthcare or public-authority interpreting - An interpreter qualification (for example, a vocational qualification in community interpreting or a university of applied sciences or university degree in interpreting) - Membership in the Register of Legal Interpreters - Knowledge of other languages We offer Freelance assignments, flexible working hours, varied tasks, support and onboarding. Compensation is hourly.
