About the role
Our insurance client is seeking an experienced Freelance Absence Case Manager to support employer clients and their employees through the full absence process.
Job Details
Responsibilities
- Manage employee absence and sick leave cases
- Advise employers on absence management and return-to-work strategies
- Produce reports, analyse absence data, and identify improvement opportunities
- Support employee reintegration and case resolution
- Assess training needs and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with Dutch Gatekeeper Legislation (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter)
Requirements
- Proven experience in Absence Management / Case Management
- Strong knowledge of Dutch Gatekeeper Law
- HR or Employee Relations background
- Experience supporting employers and employees with sickness absence
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Fluent Dutch and English
