We are looking for a Cloud Data Engineer (Mid-level or Senior) to join our Professional Services team in Finland. In this role, you will work as part of an international team, designing and delivering modern cloud-based data solutions for a wide range of clients. As a consultancy, we offer opportunities to contribute to a variety of projects. Our current portfolio includes customer analytics, large-scale IoT and real-time data processing, enterprise data platforms, and data architecture and strategy initiatives across both public and private sector organisations. Your daily responsibilities: - Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and transformations across multiple source systems - Develop and optimise data solutions using modern architectures such as data lakes, lakehouses and data warehouses - Integrate structured, semi-structured and real-time data from a variety of business and operational systems - Contribute to data modelling, data quality, and performance optimisation initiatives - Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions that address business needs - Support cloud platform modernisation and migration initiatives - Apply best practices in version control, testing, automation and agile ways of working - Depending on your experience level, mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to solution design and technical decision-making - Occasional travel may be possible, depending on the assignment and your preferences Your key skills: - Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP) - Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using modern data engineering tools and frameworks - Strong SQL skills and experience working with data transformation and modelling - Experience with cloud-based data services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake or similar technologies - Understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse concepts and modern analytics architectures - Familiarity with CI/CD practices, version control and automated deployment processes - Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders - For Seniors: Participate in solution architecture discussions and help define technical best practices across projects - Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English, as both are used daily with clients and project teams Skills we'd consider a plus: - Certifications in cloud or data platforms (or willingness to pursue them) What we offer: - Trainings and certifications - Flexible working hours and hybrid working model - Company laptop and needed equipment - Local package such as extensive private health care, Employee Assistance Program and wellness benefits The successful candidate is expected to go through a security clearance. Requirements
