The job description mainly includes simultaneous and differentiated teaching in lower grades (3rd-6th). Additionally, the task includes some teaching hours in health education and home economics in upper grades. Martinlaakso School is a comprehensive school for grades 1-9 with about 1000 students and about 130 adults. Our school is located in Martinlaakso with good transport connections. We operate in a modern school building with up-to-date teaching equipment. The diverse immediate environment offers excellent opportunities for learning and movement. Our goal is to be a pedagogically unified basic school where learners of different ages meet. Class teaching and subject teaching are located close to each other, and adults collaborate to support the idea of a unified basic school and enable a coherent school path from the first grade to the end of basic education. We require the applicant to commit to educational work according to this operating model. Additional information: Based on the number of students with a native language other than Finnish (S2), teaching staff meeting the requirements may be paid a salary supplement of approx. 250 eur/month.
