Practical nurse

We are seeking a practical nurse for a permanent position at the Wäinämöinen care home in Valkeakoski. We expect you to have a practical nurse qualification, registration in JulkiTerhikki, and at least five years of experience in elderly care. Experience related to memory disorders and palliative care is considered an advantage. The work involves comprehensive care for residents, a warm resident-centred approach, and knowledge of rehabilitative care. Teamwork skills and familiarity with primary-nurse work are expected. Duties also include activities for residents and accompanying them outdoors. Current Love medication-care training, PKV, Kipu 1 + 2, and GER 1 + 2 are required. A hygiene passport and vaccination protection under section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act are also required. The selected candidate must provide a criminal-record extract showing no offences, as required by the Criminal Records Act, before signing the employment contract.
